We had a major foam problem in our hot tub and tried a lot of things -- more calcium as well as shock treatments with chlorine and with ozone. Nothing helped -- until I tried Foam Down. It shrinks the foam on contact. The only downside was it left a bit of a residue which was easily skimmed off. Since I used it a month ago we haven't had any more foam.More detail ...
